Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. That has nothing to do with the post, but I need a title.

Hello again!

First off, before I say anything....

IT'S PI DAY!

And I still don't really care!

So, let's get this blog post back to an interesting topic. Me.

Well, a lot's been going on since I last posted! I'm currently on spring break, first off. And what have I been doing? NOT playing Minecraft, nope, nope, nope. Never. I've been...writing papers. Which, I actually did write my seven page research paper on synesthesia (fascinating condition. I would know. I think I'm like, an expert now.), so I'm not totally lying.

I go back to school on Monday, sadly. But, this is officially going to be the last year at my current school! :D (Okay, I'm going to brag quite a bit in the next paragraph, so you can skip it if you want. ;) ) I took my tests to get into the local college two weeks ago, and I passed with flying colors. :D I got into all college level stuff easily, first off. Which is not normal, since, well, I'm a freshman. The majority of the people who take the tests are at least people going into junior year, and normally older, since it is a placement test for actual college students. Although I did get a FIVE on my essay. You guys have no idea how mad I am about that. It's out of EIGHT. I GOT A FIVE OUT OF EIGHT. HOW. Seriously, in my opinion, I should have gotten at LEAST a six. That thing was a work of art. But it was graded by a computer. How can a computer accurately judge writing skills? I have no clue. Oh well, it took at least a four to get into the class I wanted to, so I guess it's all good. One last bragging thing: Apparently, it's a six hour test. I finished it in an HOUR. I repeat, I'm a freshman. Um....The thing is, I actually would have done it faster, but my mom told me if I didn't double triple check everything, then I was going to public school.

*bragging over*

However, because the advisor told my mother it was going to take a normal person six hours (I told my mom it would probably take me 2.) I had to wait in the lobby for an hour and a half. I had nothing on me, no phone, no ipod, no book. -_- Most boring time ever. By then, it was like 2:30, and I hadn't eaten since the previous night, so needless to say, I got quite mad at my mom. Haha. But when she found out I got into all college level stuff, she took me out for Wendy's, which I then got food poisoning from, and missed my friend's birthday party.

Fun times.

Okay, I have to interject real quick and say that my little brother just came into my room and held out this bottle of blue raspberry soda, and asked if I wanted any. Naturally, I did. So he went downstairs, poured me a cup, handed it to me, and proceeded to run off as I took a sip and discovered it was just some nauseating liquid with food coloring in it.

....

Anyway....

The week after that, we got all of the tile in our house redone. AKA, most of our downstairs. That meant that we were unable to go in most of our house, including our kitchen. So that meant that all of my family was cooped up on MY side of the house. -_- It also meant that we had to eat fast food, which, considering I just got food poisoning from a fast food restaurant, I was not happy about. And I ended up eating Wendy's twice anyway.

Since Friday, I  have been officially on spring break. :D So far, I haven't done much. I went out with a bunch of friends to go see Mr. Peabody and Sherman on Monday, which was fun. We then went to Whataburger, where  two guys who couldn't work the cash register had us wait for twenty minutes, then to Dahlia and her brother Thomas' house, where we played Apples to Apples and at some point, Thomas ended up with a Darth Vader mask and Timothy had a Spiderman mask on with a really offensive Indian headdress thing on over it.

Oh, homeschoolers.

I still don't know why Thomas even HAD an Indian headdress, but I think he said it was for a history project. And I'm pretty sure he doesn't even take history.

Besides playing Minecraft obsessively, I also went with my mom last night to go see a live performance of Welcome to Nightvale, a podcast we both listen to. We had to get there at 6 (the show started at 7:30) in order to get in line, and there were still a ton of people lined up.

And guys. The cosplay. O_O

(For those of you who don't know what that is, it's "the practice of dressing up as someone from a movie, tv show, anime, or book. Or podcast, in this case.)

The cosplay game was so strong. Omyword. Everyone had to walk by us in order to get to the end of the line, so we pretty much saw everyone who cosplayed. I must say, they were pretty cool. However, it's a really, really weird podcast, so a lot of the people there looked kind of crazy. The best part was when normal people walked by and did double-takes. It was hilarious. One guy who was walking his dog was looking at the hooded figures so long he tripped and almost fell into a pole.

(The hooded figures, the "eternal scouts" (There's a whole 'nother rank of Boy Scouts) and mayor of Nightvale Pamela Winchell.)

When we finally got in, it's this really, really dark theater where you could barely see anything. My mom and I got seats in the sixth row, in front of two really cool girls who we talked to a bit. However, we were behind the most annoying, tallest people in the entire warehouse. -_- Whyyyy. But the show was FANTASTIC. Honestly, I thought it was going to be kind of boring, since it is only one guy speaking into a microphone, but he is an amazing actor, and it was really, really funny. They also had a great musician open and be the weather. (I suppose I should explain, the show is a radio broadcast for a fake town, and the weather, instead of actually being the weather (Well, there's no clouds in Nightvale, besides the giant glow cloud that is the head of the school board, which makes it hard for most weather to exist, but that's not the point. I'm sounding insane right now, aren't I?) is a song from some musician.)

So, yes, that was really fun. :D What was NOT fun was finally getting home, and me going into my dark room, opening up the closet door, and finding a life size cutout of Legolas in my closet. I swear....

Oh, also, if anyone wants it, YOU CAN HAVE IT. We've literally been trying to dump it onto someone for like, six months. I've had quite a few friends who have wanted it, because they think Orlando Bloom is attractive *rolls eyes*. But their parents wouldn't let them have it. Sadly. Guys, it is the most TERRIFYING thing to walk into the playroom at night, with the lights off, and see a human standing in the corner. Omygosh.

Anyway, I have now written my way to the present, where my parents are currently painting the playroom red (We're renovating it, which should be awesome!), my youngest brother is wearing a fedora and running around with a nerf gun (Granted, he does have decent fashion taste. Fedoras are cool.) , and Abdul is walking around with this in his hand.

In case you can't read it, it says Do Not Consume.

Did I mention he's drinking it every chance he gets?

And brought it to school?

Anyway, I must go read a script for a short film my brother is making. And film it. And act in it. Yayyyyy.

Bye!

in which I ramble quite a bit about dogs, flowers, snakes, and skulls

Hey guys!

Guess what? :D We got a dog!

Her name is Sadie- DANG IT. Okay, the dog's name is Lola, but for some reason our entire family keeps calling her Sadie. XD No one knows why. O.o

We've had her since around 10 o clock this morning. We got her through a Schnauzer rescue thing, so we've been planning to get her for a week or so. But now we finally have her! :D

It's been....interesting to have a dog again. When we moved here six years ago, we got a dog from the poodle rescue, but we had to give him away about two years ago. :( So far, we've had to keep Lola on a leash with us at all times, and since I've been the only one home, it means wherever I go, she goes. Actually, more like wherever she goes, I go XD She's only around 35 pounds, but she can move fast XD I surprisingly did something resembling exercise when I took her for a walk today, and I had to jog to keep up. Granted, as soon as I got home from my "exercise", I ate some ice cream. But I digress.

I kind of feel bad for Lola, though. We have a bird (That in case you didn't know, I DESPISE. I am praying she eats the darn thing. Since I apparently can't. Yes, I asked my mother if we could fry the thing for Christmas dinner. That's how much I hate it.) that constantly chirps, and apparently she is sensitive to loud noises. So when she was running around the house exploring, she kept freaking out because it kept chirping and she couldn't find it XD

I've also learned that she is afraid of small animals. When she ran into my brother's room, she saw his hedgehog, Hedgalina McPricklesworth III. And freaked out XD She sniffed it's cage, and when Hedgalina jumped, she ran right out XD

Around 45 minutes ago, my mom finally got home and took Lola outside in the backyard.

WHERE SHE FOUND A SNAKE.

We're used to having animals in our yard (We've had an entire family of raccoon living in our chimney, two possums under our deck, etc etc) but it's been years (well, hopefully. Knowing my dad, he wouldn't tell me if there was something there.) since we've had a snake. The last one we had was...3 feet long? Maybe 4. I've tried to block it out of my memory. When we first moved here, I was out in the yard, and I turned around to see a garden snake IN MY FACE. Last time I ever try to get vines off of trees. Ever since then, I have been traumatized.

Anywho, as soon as she found the snake (which is STILL SOMEWHERE IN OUR YARD o.o) , she bolted. Just like I would have XD

And ran over the pool. -_-

By over, I mean she ran over the cover, which LOOKS like a solid surface. But if you put any weight on it, it sinks down into the pool. So on her first day here, Lola has already gone swimming XD

I was supposed to give her a bath, but I got out of it. B)

Anyways, enough about that.

It's been a while since I blogged! And since then, not much has happened.

However, I did find out that instead of having to go to public school (long story short, if I didn't get all A's, I had to go, but since I am not, I was very very close to having to go) I am going to be doing a combination of dual credit classes at the college, online courses, and being tutored. And maybe doing a class at the school I'm going to now. :D It should be fun! I'm really excited! I'm going to do English, Science, and History at the college, Latin III online, and Geometry with my current math tutor. Right now, in order to be able to take 3 classes at the college instead of the 2 they have you start off with, I have to take a computer class over the summer.

-_-

Why the face? Well, the computer class is: A. Over the summer, B. Lasts 5 weeks, Monday-Friday, and C. Is from EIGHT O CLOCK IN THE MORNING TO NOON. IN THE SUMMER.

*dies*

Not only that, I found out that the "class" teaches you how to use Microsoft Word and Powerpoint.

Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

I've known how to use Microsoft Word since I was 11! And yes, the features of it too, not just typing up homework. Despite what my father thinks, I actually DO know the majority of stuff I think they're going to teach in this class. *sigh* I'm not looking forward to this.

Also in order to get in, I have to take a series of tests. I took the PSAT last fall, which SHOULD have cleared me for taking those tests. I passed English and writing just fine, but I didn't test out of math by TWO. POINTS. So now I have to take the tests the college offers. Definitely looking forward to that one. *rolls eyes* I'm not too worried about it, though. Back last fall when I took the PSAT, I knew almost nothing. XD I'm a lot smarter now.

I think.

Another thing that's been happening is... *dramatic music* Economics projects. Every February/March, the economics class has to create a business. Since I'm in the class, now I have to do it. XD Two of my friends and I decided to be in a group together and have a bake sale at the school, and it went pretty well. We did it around Valentine's Day, so we also decided to sell flowers.

Funniest.
Thing.
Ever.

While a lot of kids bought them for their parents, there were some prank ones, which were hilarious. We offered free delivery if the person wanted to remain anonymous. My friend Ariana bought one for her little brother, made a card that said "From Your Secret Admirer" and had us give it to him XD Immediately after we delivered it, three girls came up and were like "Who sent that? Who was it? Was it ____? Or ____?" When we said we were sworn to secrecy, they left. Later we found out that one of the girls told the boy it was from her XD Despite the fact that the boy's sister sent it XD

My piano teacher's son is in my grade, and when I went to my lesson a week or so ago, she pulled me aside and whispered "Hey, how much are those flowers? Will you deliver one to Timothy anonymously?" We did, and...well, it was hilarious. The whole day he was wondering who it was from. He thought it was from our friend Daniella, considering she started singing "Can You Feel The Love Tonight?" as soon as we delivered it. XD When he got home, apparently his mom asked him if he got any flowers, and he denied it! When she said "Oh, really? I sent one to you" he said he forgot. XD

My Valentine's Day was pretty fun as well :D I mostly teased my friends about the lack of admirers showing up at their doors as I sat at home alone. JK XD I'm not that mean. I got some chocolate, a new beanie, and a mystery Doctor Who lego figure XD I ended up with Rory. B) Oh, and a Calvin and Hobbes necklace :D

Although my brother got this:

Not.
Fair.

Also, I got a giant skull. Why? Because my parents decided to scare me by putting this in my closet: (excuse the terrible webcam photo)

Yeah.

It's currently on my door. Although I am considering hanging it from my ceiling.

Well, that's all for now! :D Hope you enjoyed my rambling.

Pageant Queens, Me, and other completely opposite things

Hey guys!

Today, I shall be doing another one of those "Currently" posts :D Enjoy!

READING:
Basically, lately I've been getting a lot of emails and letters (like, in the mail. Woah.) regarding college. Which, ugh. I got five emails from Iowa State University in 4 days. I can't even name a city in Iowa. I can't even pronounce it! I say Ee-o-way!

But now, instead of getting letters about college...

I'm getting them about PAGEANTS. As in, beauty pageants.

Wuuuut.

I find this extremely hilarious, considering I am someone who is the exact opposite of a pageant girl. But according to one of the letters I managed to snag before they disappeared, someone recommended me. O.O Obviously, someone who does not know me at ALL.

However, this letter has made me laugh harder than I have in a week. Here's some snippets:

"National American Miss is a pageant experience designed for today's girl. Therefore, she does not have to perform a talent."

So, basically, today's girl does not need a talent to get ahead in life. It's based on beauty. But wait!

"Scoring is based on an individual's personality, poise, and confidence."

Excuse me while I burst out laughing...

The worst part is that my mother actually wants me to do it. Because apparently you can win money. A million dollars wouldn't get me to that thing.

So, yeah, that's what I'VE been reading. Ridiculous letters trying to get me into a beauty pageant. Hopefully another one comes and I can laugh at it even more.

LISTENING:
I've been listening to a TON of the band The Civil Wars.
And so I decided to google them to see if they were on tour or something, because, despite the fact that I probably couldn't go, I wanted to still at least look.

THEY BROKE UP.

THEY ARE ON INDEFINITE HIATUS.

*cries* But, they did win another Grammy on the 26th. However, the guy (It's a duo, a man and woman) was the only one there, and didn't even mention Joy (The woman) in his acceptance speech. But he did mention his plumber. You think I'm joking...I'm not...

Good job, sir. Good job.

WATCHING:
Nothing. BECAUSE MY FATHER BLOCKED YOUTUBE. *cries again..this is an emotional post...*

Wait, there's something called a TV?

Well, SOMEONE *coughcoughmylittlebrothercoughcough* lost the remote for Netflix. So I can't watch anything there either.

And yes, I am still alive.

Also, I will be "watching" the Super Bowl! I am not a fan of football at all. I care more about the winner of the commercial battle than the winner of the game. I'm still trying to decide whether or not to go to a Super Bowl party my youth group is having, or staying home. Either way, all I'll be doing is watching the commercials.

EDIT: My mother just came home with all of the food she will be making.

I am so staying home.

PLAYING:
Skywars. Wayyyyy too much.

I have a problem.

Buuuut...Abdul won Halo 4 for XBox 360.

We do not have an xbox 360.

So he might buy one! :D (I should clarify: Abdul never spends money. Like, ever. So, he probably has a TON of money in the bank.)  And let his amazing sister play it, of course! At least, he had better. *glares*

LEARNING:
Piano songs. When I quit for a year, and then came back, I had to go behind a year. And so now, Abdul and I are at the same place. Same books, same songs. But different teachers. Who are very good friends.
Which is a bit awkward...considering I took lessons from Abdul's teacher for four years, then switched... Anyways. Yes. Piano. Yay?

WRITING:
I'm currently (supposed to be) working on an essay. The topic is: "Write about Living to Survive vs Living to Thrive while comparing the Baxter's and Forrester's in the Yearling."

*sigh* I love writing. And reading. But I really, really hate English...Like, she's teaching us (YET AGAIN) how to outline, and research. I have written SO MANY PAPERS. And stories. And other stuff. I think I know how I work. I don't need to learn AGAIN. Anyway. Rant over.

WANTING:
Everything. I'm a greedy person.

And fish fingers and custard.

EATING:
I got an entire pound of licorice. Which, I normally don't like licorice, but this is delicious Australian soft licorice. And it is amazing. And...I might have eaten all of it in like, a day. But it was worth the stomach ache and hyperness.

That's it!
Also, someone tell me who to root for in the Super Bowl. All I know is that the Seahawks and Broncos are playing. Hahaha.

actual proof supporting the theory that i was completely insane at age 13

Hey guys!

Okay, so basically, I was going through my closet because yay organization and I came across...

My old school notebook.

I know I know, borrrrrring. But this notebook is my English notebook. And it is filled with..."journal" entries. xD Every day (aka twice a week) as soon as we walked into class, my English teacher would have a prompt written up on the board, and we had to write about it. I had them all written down.

And...

Oh my word.

I needed help. xD

I WAS THIRTEEN.  EVERYONE WAS MESSED UP AND ANNOYING AND STUPID AT THIRTEEN. ...Right? Well, Abdul is twelve, so I can't tell if this is even just a family thing or what. Granted, he can be pretty stupid now...He gave my youngest brother a fat lip by accident five minutes before we left for school, and since my mom couldn't give him anything to keep the swelling down, she told him (my youngest brother, I mean) to use any of the following stories to explain how it happened. A. He was trying to get some honey for our pancakes (that never existed) and tried to climb a tree to get to a beehive, and while he was climbing the tree, a bee stung his lip. B. He fought Chuck Norris. C. A unicorn descended from heaven and poked his lip with his horn.

I'm not making this up. Welcome to my family, everyone.

I am so off topic.

So, yes! I looked at these and decided how weird I was. In my defense, it was about 8 in the morning, and back then, I almost never slept. Granted, I don't sleep a ton now, but whereas I usually stay up late only on days I don't have school, back then I was running on 4-5 hours of sleep quite often. xD Anywho, enjoy.

Prompt: Write a greeting card for a fake holiday.

My answer: My holiday would be Gas Pump Appreciation day. (IN MY DEFENSE, I COULDN'T THINK OF ANYTHING, SO I USED HER PROMPT BOOK THING.) The front of the card would have a red and blue gas pump and say "Gas pumps are red, or maybe they're blue..." and the inside would say "It's Gas Pump Appreciation Day, and I appreciate you!"

....

Well, obviously, I shouldn't write greeting cards. Or come up with holidays.

Prompt: You and your friends have just been caught breaking into the local gas station. (obviously, I did not believe in appreciating gas pumps.) After your parents pay your bail, you must explain why you did it, since this is not something you usually do. What your parents and others don't realize is that you did it for a heroic reason. What do you tell your parents?

Wait...people don't break into places on a normal basis? What kind of life do you guys live?
My Answer: Mom, Dad, I broke into the gas station in order to steal money. But not for pleasure, for necessity. You see, my friend Riah's parents  are dying of a rare kidney disease. They don't have the money to pay for the cure, and no one could help them. I figured if I stole some cash, I could help save their lives.

*sniffs* Look at that act of heroism, guys. And I only got an 85. Apparently my teacher did not appreciate my selflessness.

Prompt: At exactly midnight on New Years Eve, you receive an email labeled "Open 'imidiatly' (That's how I spelled it on this thing. *sigh*)." The really strange thing is that the email is apparently from your future self. What does it say?

My Answer (and I swear, I'm not making this up. My family didn't even believe me, I had to show them the notebook xD):
The email says "Wake up. You're in a coma. This isn't real." I read the email slowly, then suddenly feel myself slipping away and black out. I wake up in a hospital bed, where a man tells me I slipped into a coma when I was punched in the head by a drunk guy in Times Square....twenty years ago! I've been in a coma for two decades, I end up in jail because I haven't been able to pay the hospital bills, and am finally released only to be hit by North Korea's nuclear bomb.

....

Um....

Well, originally instead of being blown up, I was hit by a bus. Does that make it any better?

I genuinely pitied my English teacher. A few months later, she gave us an assignment where she put a photo of two kids, a boy and a girl, surrounded by other kids. The boy had a delighted look on his face, while the girl looked terrified. She wanted us to write a story based off the photo.

I wrote about Bobby, who loved penguins way too much, and Suzy, who was deathly afraid of them. One day, their class went on a field trip to the zoo, and Bobby ran to the penguin enclosure and let them out. Suzy started going into shock and hyperventilating and eventually fell over to be stepped on by 15 penguins, as the other kids screamed while Bobby looked happier than ever. The story ended by talking about how Suzy needed 15 years of therapy and then ended up accidentally falling into the lion pit while trying to run from the penguins one day when her therapist took her to the zoo, and how Bobby was suspended from school and eventually became a zookeeper only to be eaten by penguins.
IT LOOKS CUTE NOW, BUT IT WILL KILL YOU.

I know I keep saying this, but I swear, this is all true.

My English teacher either loved me or was terrified by me. And I didn't even talk about that time she showed that old black and white photo of some guy returning from the army kissing a girl in the street (AKA, the one to the right), and I wrote an essay about how the girl left him immediately and he contemplated jumping off a bridge, only to be convinced by an old man that there was still hope. Of course, he ended up living a miserable life anyway after he and the girl got back together then divorced.

...I don't...I....

I needed help.

Needless to say, she abolished this assignment. Although I think I got a 95 on those two papers because "The writing was excellent, but the story...." I really need to find those, I'm sure they're saved somewhere. Revisit my sick, twisted thirteen year old mind. Something I've always wanted to do.

NOTE THAT THIS IS ONLY ENGLISH CLASS. AND ONLY ABOUT A MONTH OF IT. o.o I do not even want to think about the other months...or other classes...

If you knew me when, I am so, so sorry.

So, um...I hope you enjoyed?
May you live a life slightly more normal than my brain,
Audrey

10 things I regret doing

Hey guys!
So, since I'm probably still doing school and have nothing interesting to post about (I write a lot of my posts in advance, then post them when I haven't posted in a while) I decided to do a prompt I found somewhere. It is obviously called "make a list of 10 things you regret doing". Which should be interesting to hear about xD By the end of this, you'll know some very random things about me. :P  Enjoy my weirdness! Also, these are in no particular order.

Biting my Brother.
So, when I was like, six, I was trying to practice piano and Abdul (my younger bro, for those of you who don't know) kept on bugging me. Granted, he was three at the time, but whatever. And I was a naive six year old who wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer (Can we just acknowledge how I always seem to pick the most violent thing to compare myself to O.o), so I bit him. On the hand. I was six, it's not like it hurt much! But he was three. And ended up screaming his head off. Why do I regret this? Because my punishment was NOT BEING ABLE TO HAVE MY OWN BIRTHDAY CAKE. It was an ice cream cake. Which is my favorite.

Why do I even still remember this?

MY FAMILY STILL BRINGS IT UP.

AND TALKS ABOUT HOW DELICIOUS IT WAS.

And, I actually wanted to get some a few years back, and I found out they discontinued it.

Thank you, Culvers. -_-

Jumping on the Bed
Another childhood thing. When I was around 7, Abdul and I were jumping on the bed, and my youngest brother, who was probably around 1 or 2, fell off onto the hardwood floor and got a concussion. I got in SO much trouble, which, for a seven year old, was staying in my room all day and going without dinner. Which, now that I think about it, is me now, except I usually do eat something...in my room. I still regret it. I think I knocked out half of my youngest brother's brain cells. *hides from her parents who are probably reading this.*

Cutting My Hair
When I was 10 or 11, I really wanted my ears pierced, and my dad said he would only do it if I cut my hair to just below my chin. Stupid me did it. Worst. haircut. ever. I swear, if one of my family members finds this thing and resurrects one of those pictures....let's just say I'll emancipate myself.

Not Saving My Journals
Well, journals/stories. I used to write a lot when I was a kid (Well, I still do) and I really wish I hadn't either lost a lot of them or thrown them out. It'd be funny to read now. xD

Getting a Refurbished Ipod
(And yes, the ipod in question is to the left, although it is a stolen picture. And by stolen, I mean I snuck into the gigantic pictures of ipod warehouse at midnight dressed in black and climbed through a window then ran back out to the sound of barking dogs and people yelling, "Hey you! Stop!" Although, points to you if you got that reference.) I was in fourth grade, had just gotten my birthday money, and spent it on an ipod. And couldn't afford a new one. Let me tell you, that thing (which I actually still have and use now. Shuddup.) has annoyed the heck out of me over the years. Although it wasn't as annoying as my taste of music five years ago.

Not Getting Two Door Cinema Club Tickets
I'm still not over it. And what's even worse is that my cousin went and saw them a few weeks later. THANKS A LOT.

Putting My Hand on the Stove
I obviously wasn't the brightest child. Then again, I did just put my hand on my lamp and my finger nearly burned off. It still hurts to type. THIS IS THE PAIN I GO THROUGH TO BLOG. APPRECIATE IT.

Hiding Things
And by this, I mean emotions and stuff. I mean, I still do that now, but way back when, I never said ANYTHING about how I really felt, and I really wish I did now that I look back.

Caring What People Thought
Yet again, I still do this now. But when I was younger, I was the WORST. One time, in like, fifth grade, some kid told me my name was stupid, and I went and cried for an hour. Not even kidding xD Luckily, I'm much better with this.

I'm lying. If insulted, I go and cry for hours.

(JK)

Quitting Piano
Well, in eighth grade, I decided I was sick of piano and quit. Then, I went back and got a new teacher in ninth grade. But catching up? Ugh. ABDUL AND I DO THE SAME STUFF NOW. AND HE'S THREE YEARS YOUNGER THAN ME. Talk about humbling. xD

And, that is all! Well, actually, these were the only things I could think of off the top of my head. Hopefully you enjoyed! Also, if you have anything you want me to speak about or something, tell me in the comments, because, as always, I am low on ideas.
Bye!

I am an extremely boring person who does not know how to make macaroni.

Hey guys!

So, I've been trying to write blog posts in advance lately. I did that for my AIO blog (when I still actually posted on it :P) and it worked out okay. Now, I just need an idea. That involves something that is actually interesting, and you guys would care about.

And, with that sentence, all of my previous ideas go out the window.

Sam just told me I should do it on how to make macaroni. HA HA, sis. I am awful in the kitchen, as a few of you might know, and last time I tried to make macaroni, I ran out of milk, went to the outside refrigerator to get some, setting off the house alarm, then when I got back inside, the water had boiled over, and then I dropped the milk. -_-

She thinks it's hilarious. And now she says she IS hilarious, I just choose not to see it. xD

I'm actually quite hungry right now. Maybe I should go make some macaroni.

I will make her watch this GIF in revenge. -_-

MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
This thing is giving me a headache >_>

Anywho. I found a blog tag I have decided to do :D Since nothing else has come to mind besides one of those "Currently" posts, and since nothing much has been going on, it might be like:

I know, I know, fascinating, but we have to save the exciting posts for later.

Alright, onto the tag! It's supposed to be called 84 questions, but I eliminated a bunch, because some of them were like "How often do you drink water?" As if people care. Haha.
Now, bring it on. B-I

Put your music player of choice on shuffle and list the first 10 songs.
Hourglass by Zedd.
Tiptoe by Imagine Dragons
All the Way by Capital Kings
Part II by Paramore
Alive by Zedd and Empire of the Sun
Candlelight by Relient K
Come Back Home by Two Door Cinema Club
Always Where I Need to Be by the Kooks
Thirst by City and Colour
Barton Hallow by the Civil Wars

If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be and why? Would you take anyone with you?
I honestly don't know. I just want to go anywhere but here xD Honestly, probably rent a big van, drive around the country picking up some of my friends, and then we all would move to Canada.

Don't ask.

Do you have connections to any celebrities (even minor)? List them.
Well, I know me, and I am so fabulous that I SHOULD be a celebrity xD

And, that was the most egotistical thing I have ever said.

Name 3 items you could pick up from where you are.
My Ipod, considering I was just shuffling through the songs, The Yearling, a book I have to read in English class, and my TARDIS necklace my friend got me yesterday. *pokes all the people who are annoyed by DW awake*

A musical artist you love that isn’t well known
Hmmmm....I don't know if Matthew Parker would count xD But I'm going to say him anyway.

Last person you talked to, and through what you talked to them
Sam, who told me that I should talk about how amazing I am at cooking *rolls eyes*

What kind of headphones do you use?
I think these, aka Sony ZX Series Black Stereo Headphone in red.  Although whenever I am going somewhere and want to listen to music, I usually just bring my SkullCandy earbuds.

What musical artists have you seen perform live?
My dad loves this pianist named George Winston, so I've seen him a few times. Paul McCartney. Imagine Dragons, and the Neighbourhood, who opened for them. I wanted to go see Paramore, but I missed it. -_- And Two Door Cinema Club, but I'm not going to talk about that because THEY ALMOST NEVER TOUR AND THEY EVEN CAME TO AMERICA (they're a British band) AND THE TICKETS WERE AFFORDABLE BUT IT WAS ON A FREAKING SCHOOL NIGHT.

I'm still upset, okay?!

Although, hopefully, I will go see some more bands soon :D I might go see Bastille possibly (not sure yet), because I FINALLY listened to their album, and omygosh. O.O Yes. Also, their concert is on a Wednesday night, which is a day where I have school, but the next day I'm off! :D

What gaming consoles do you or your family own?
We have a Wii.

That's all.

Haha, my brother and I have been begging for an Xbox 360 for quite a while now, because we have to go to the library to play video games (yeah, I know. Shush.).

Inspiration behind your URL?
It was the first thing I thought of and I was too lazy to do anything else.

Name at least one book you loved as a child.
I read Matilda about 15 times when I was 7. Haha.

Is there anything hanging on the walls of the room you are currently in?
O.O you have no idea...I have, like, no wall space whatsoever. I keep finding stuff I want to put up, but then I realize I can't.

Earliest moment in your life you can remember?
When I was little, my dad and I would go on a walk after it stopped raining, and he used to tell me to stand under a tree. Then he would shake it so I would be doused with the water that had stayed on the leaves. -_- Come to think of it, he did this till I was about 13. O.o

If you were suddenly really hungry, what would you choose to eat?
I AM really hungry. If I had to choose, I would probably say food.

What fandoms would you consider yourself a part of?
This would take all day.

How would you describe your sense of humour?
It's like, 3/4 sarcastic, and then 1/4 stupid. And somewhere in there is the "I Laugh When Someone Gets Hurt" humour.

What things annoy you more than anything else?
Questions like this.

What do you carry your money in?
First I would need money.

Longest drive you have ever been on?
When I went to Kentucky, AKA, 18 hours >_>

Furthest away from home you have ever been?
I'm homeschooled. I don't even go outside.

How many times have you moved house?
I move the house, like, everyday. I even hoisted it over my shoulders once.

What is on the floor of the room you’re currently in, not including furniture?
Carpet.

Is there is anything that is guaranteed to always make you happy?
My friends ^_^

What websites do you currently have open?
The ToO, Gmail, Blogger, Rdio, Soundcloud, and a mibpaste.

Last healthy thing you ate?
Um....I ate potato chips. They had potato in them. HEALTHINESS.

If you had to move your birthday to another date, which one would you choose and why?
April Fools Day. That way I could pull even worse pranks on people, and when they go to yell at me, I can just say it's my birthday, so you had to be nice to me. 0=)

Roughly how many people live in your town?
Honestly, no clue. I tried to look it up, but the most recent stat was from 2005. =P

Do you know anyone with the same birthday as you?
Okay, so you know those penpals you could sign up for in ClubHouse magazine a few years back? (and now, but I digress.) When I was around 8 or so, I signed up for one, and we had the same birthday.

I never wrote her, and she never wrote to me. I only knew the birthday thing because it said so on the card I got back from the magazine.

Besides that, my aunt's birthday and mine are the same. :D

Do you have a smartphone? What kind? If you don’t, do you want one?
I had an iPhone 4S, but not anymore.

How do you spell grey/gray?
Grey.

What time is it currently?
1:23....am. ;) Jk.

Is there anything you should be doing right now?
Probably eating, considering the only thing I've eaten in the past 36 hours was some beef stew. =P

There ya go! Hope you guys enjoyed reading my randomness, haha. Also, give me some ideas on what to talk about, otherwise you are going to end up with me describing what I had for lunch or something. The more ideas I have, the more I will post!
Hasta la Vista!

This post is totally not the result of a new year's resolution

I.
AM.
ALIVE.

Okay, most of you reading this know that anyway.

But I am actually blogging! Whaaaaaaaaat? (James what. Bonus points if you got that reference.)

It's been SO long O.O I keep wanting to blog, I even had a short blog post written up in early November, but I never posted it. Plus, I got put on restriction and blocked from posting, so :P

What I have decided to do, since it has been forever, and since I did write up that short bit, is basically walk you through my months. Hopefully you enjoy. LET IT BEGIN! Warning: Super long post ahead! I have three months to cover!

So wait, when was the last time I posted anyway? October? Then I guess I'd better post this:

October:

Hm, what happened in October? Oh, I know.

MY BIRTHDAY!

*crickets*

Darn, it looks like my brother's cricket collection escaped. (Yeah, yeah, my jokes are a little rusty. Shut up.)

I had an awesome birthday, thanks for asking. :D I don't know if I discussed this, but my main birthday present was getting to go to an Imagine Dragons concert. :D :D :D They're one of my favorite bands. I went with one of my friends, and it was AWESOME. They are amazing live. Easily one of the best birthday presents ever.

What else did I get for my birthday?

Well, I had finished all of the Doctor Who episodes on Netflix earlier that month, and I was dying for season 7. So my friend and I decided that I would ask for it for Christmas then we would have a Doctor Who marathon. (She was, AND STILL IS, on Season 5, I believe.)

And wouldn't you know it, it was all a clever ruse so they could jump out and say surprise on Halloween when I went over to a friend's house for trick or treating. (I'M NOT TOO OLD, SHUDDUP. Okay, now I am, but at the time I wasn't.)

And what did they give me for my birthday?

SEASON SEVEN ON DVD WITH BONUS FEATURES TOTALING 720 MINUTES.
Along with some Adipose cupcakes. (They're from Doctor Who.)

Look at them. They are adorable. (Sorry for the terrible photos.)

And, thus concludes October. :D

NO WAIT.

So.

A certain book came out.

That broke my heart into pieces and I'm not going to talk about it because first off the book in my opinion wasn't even that great. Awful ending aside, it just wasn't very good. *sigh* But I still stayed up till midnight waiting for it to be delivered to my Kindle anyway.

And my grandmother got me AN AUTOGRAPHED COPY OF IT OMYGOSH :O She works in a school where tons of authors visit, and if there's anyone I like, she often gets me an autographed copy :D Plus, this specific murderer-I-mean-author lives in Chicago, and my grandma lives right around there. But let me tell you. The fans were wondering why there was a wave on the cover on this book. IT STANDS FOR THE FANDOM'S TEARS.

November:

(This was technically in October, but whatever.)

Here is the short bit I wrote that I'm just going to put here because it's kind of relevant here.

Hey guys!
*looks back on the last post that said she would update in a few days*
Ha.

Why am I updating now?
BECAUSE IT'S FOUR AM!
I AM COMPLETELY INSANE AT FOUR AM!

And I can't sleep.

For example.

a few minutes ago, this happened.

*aunt walks in*
Me: Hi Aunt Kim!
Aunt: ....Audrey?
Me: yes?
Aunt: why are you eating cheese and crackers in our kitchen at four o clock in the morning?
Me: ....why not?
Aunt: I don't understand you sometimes. *walks off*

The life and times of an insomniac.

What?

I also have all the lights in the house turned on....why? Because I was stupid enough to watch three Stephen Moffat episodes of doctor who in a row. From midnight to three am.

I'm an idiot.

But now with all the light sources....I have two shadows....I am going to die :o

Okay. Anyway. I told you I was insane. Am insane. Or am I? A crazy person doesn't know they're crazy. I know I am crazy. Therefore I am not crazy. Or am I?

>.>

ANYWAY.

In case you noticed earlier, I mentioned my aunt had found me. Good thing she did instead of my mother, who would have killed me. Like she would have killed me if I lost her bird. My aunt let it out of its cage to hop around a bit because its wings are clipped, and told me to watch it.

I didn't.

And its wings haven't been clipped in a while...so it can kind of fly....

So guess who had to search the whole house looking for a parakeet that she despises because A. Her mother loves that thing more than her own children and b. it always chirps every single time she tries to practice piano? ( SIDE NOTE. I STILL HATE THIS BIRD SO FREAKING MUCH. IT HAS EVEN TURNED ON MY MOTHER. SHE NOW CALLS IT SID VICIOUS. I WANTED TO HAVE IT STUFFED FOR MY CHRISTMAS PRESENT, BUT SADLY MY MOTHER WOULD NOT ALLOW IT.)

Me.

I found it chewing on an electrical cord under a table after twenty minutes of searching.

I am so off topic.

But anyway. My parents are in Canada! Why, you ask? For their twentieth anniversary, I tell you! Their anniversary is also the same day as my birthday (which is also my aunts bday) so they never got to do much for it. But this year, they ditched this stupid 90 degree weather to go to Canada, where they can wear hats and winter jackets and sweaters and not die of heatstroke! At this point, I'm just wearing sweaters and pretending its cold outside.

They come home tomorrow....er....today.....and I must say, I will be sad to see my aunt leave. Not only does she let me eat a healthy dinner of ramen noodles, mashed potatoes, and pineapple three nights in a row (I'm seriously not making this up xD) , she made us homemade kettle corn drizzled with chocolate @_@
Stay with us forever, please.

What else have I been doing since I last posted?

Reading. (I already mentioned Allegiant earlier, so I'll skip over that part.)

House of Hades by Rick Riordan FINALLY came out. Luckily better than MARK OF ATHENA WHERE HE ****************** !!!!!!!! (in case anyone here reads the series but hasn't read MoA yet.) Let's just say ended on a cliffhanger.

Wanna know who he dedicated House of Hades to?

"To the fans. Sorry about that cliffhanger. Okay, not really. MUHAHAHAHAHA."

I'm not making this up. It was a good book, and thankfully didn't end on ANOTHER cliffhanger. And wasn't toooooo sad.

UNLIKE ALLEGIANT.

I'm not even going to talk about it.

Okay, I'm sure you guys didn't come here to hear me talk about books....

Well, I got shipped a few more times >.> . I heard some awesome music, such as this. . @_@
I might possibly have an obsession with Matthew Parker....but who doesn't?
Played a lot of minecraft. NEW UPDATE YAY!! I haven't have the time to mess around with it yet, but I'm planning on it!
Beat up my brothers a few times. Why? Well, one of them just randomly jumped me today with a foam-but-still-really-painful baseball bag because he thought I was on facebook. O.o I'm 90% sure my mother is paying them to spy on me. And she's not even here!
I watched a little Doctor Who. Not much. You know. Totally not addicted nope
School >.> I hate, hate, hate school >.> these late nights are killing me. Last week, for the three days I had school, I was running on 7 hours of sleep.

Combined.

Sleep is for the weak. And the girls who decide to rewatch their favorite episodes late at night because they can't sleep.

And that's it!

I've got nothing.

I am
Boooooring.

And, besides Champion by Marie Lu coming out in November, having my grandparents fly down from Chicago for Thanksgiving (where I found out Veronica Roth's mom is in my grandma's book club O.O I'M LIKE THREE DEGREES FROM THE DEVIL. I kid, I kid. but I'm still not over Allegiant.), not much happened.

Thus ends November, I guess.

December

Merrrrrrry Christmas! The time where terrible holiday music that makes me want to cut my ears off blasts 24/7 (seriously, Santa Claus Is Coming To Town by the Jackson Five should be outlawed.) , I am forced to watch holiday movies that I despise (This video by my friend Ryan Matlock sums up how I feel about this, and other Christmas related stuff. Seriously, go check out the video, and his channel. He's pretty awesome.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uw7WdmJW9s4) and I sit in my room trying to avoid going caroling or something.

Ho, ho, ho.*sarcasm right there*

I kid, I kid.

No I'm not.

I dunno, I had a great Christmas and all, but I just don't think I really got into the Christmas spirit and all. But that's because I hate holiday music and movies and things like that. :P

And, with every Christmas...

Comes the Christmas light show.

You probably don't know what I'm talking about if you aren't one of my neighbors who are blinded from Black Friday to January 1st. But every single year, my father gets out his totes and totes of Christmas lights and decorates our back yard. And usually causes the electricity on the block to complete go out. I must say, it looks pretty awesome. :D My dad goes crazy, haha. It's become a yearly thing in my household. And this year, it was twice as big. But luckily, we have a generator now. :P I wish I had pictures.

We had three Christmases this year. We had a Christmas on Black Friday when one set of grandparents flew down for Thanksgiving, one on the real Christmas with my grandparents from Arkansas, and one the day my grandma came down a few days after Christmas. It was great having so much family come over! Even if I had to sleep on the couch ;) We haven't seen a lot of them in forever, so it was fun seeing everyone again.

And, I kind of have to talk about how this Christmas was a fandom Christmas. O.O As in, my parents would hand me something from a book series I love or a TV show I watch, and say "I have no clue what this is, but I know you'll love it." It was pretty awesome. :D I would be jumping up and down as they looked on with a "What the heck?" expression on their face. :P

Also in December, finals made me keel over, my friend made me watch the bonus features of the 1D movie (SHUT UP ALL OF YOU I WAS FORCED I SWEAR and it was only the bonus features...) and I finally am here for Christmas break.

andidon'tgobacktoschoolonmondayshutup

And for New Years, my brother and I stayed up till midnight (and this time, we were actually allowed to!). He decided to stuff some of those poppers that you throw at the ground and they explode into one of those things that you pull the strings and streamers pop out.

And his fingers nearly burned off.

*sigh*

Thus ends December.

January

Well, not much to talk about here. Since it's only January 4th ;) I've pretty much been on my laptop a lot the past few days. Oh, yeah, I finally bought a laptop! :D

And now it is broken.

Yep.

Well, okay, the laptop itself is just fine. But even though we have internet, it won't let me connect, and not even my dad can figure out what's wrong. So he's probably going to have to reset it. *sigh* But enough about that. :P

And now I am blogging! :D Obviously. While listening to Zedd. (Also, let me give a shoutout to Ben for introducing me to Zedd, because I have had the album Clarity on repeat for like two weeks. It's awesome. )
And checking Facebook, where I just found this. And for some reason I am laughing. But I need a picture here, so...

And, this post really isn't a product of a New Year's resolution. I just had some time on my hands :P

So, yeah. All  I have been doing is listening to stuff on Soundcloud, watching youtube, playing Minecraft, and talking to people. Which has been fun. ^-^ I'm dreading school....That's half of the reason I didn't post (besides not being able to), is because I have nothing to post ABOUT besides school.

Oh, and the Lurkville album, but that's a whole 'nother story....

Alright, I've run out of things to talk about that you would actually be interested in, so I shall depart. See you guys later!
